LOS ANGELES, CA — In front of a raucous, boisterous crowed at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the latest installment of Puerto Rico vs Mexico featured an undefeated Danny “Swift” Garcia bouncing back to defeat Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero by unanimous decision to claim the vacant WBC welterweight championship belt. The title came up for grabs after former champion Floyd Mayweather retired in September. Guerrero dominated the early rounds by controlling the action in aggressive and quick paced fashion.
